What is CoupledTogether?

Welcome to a fun new way to connect with your long distance partner… your own online room – just for the two of you!  You each move around the room – selecting different activities to do. If you both are doing the same activity at the same time then you experience that area together. Read below about some specific activities.

YouTube

Share your favourite YouTube videos with your partner. When you are both watching, the videos are in sync – so if you pause, it also pauses your partner’s video. If you change videos, then your partner’s video changes too.

Games

Click on the top shelf and select the game of your choice to start playing with your partner. Currently there is Connect4 and Battleship – feel free to suggest other games also.

Music

Listen to music you or your partner have uploaded. If your partner is also listening, you will both hear the music at the same time. Guess you’ll learn if you have the same taste in music!

Blackboard

Doodle with your partner! Anything you draw will be seen by your parter if they have their blackboard open also. The last drawing will appear in the blackboard on the wall.

Personalized Avatars

Each of you get to personalize your own avatars. Choose your own clothes, hair, facial features, etc. Feel free to change up your “look” as often as you like. Wear as much (or as little!) as you wish.

Calendar – Set Date Nights!

This is the calendar you share with your partner. You can set virtual dates, and can choose to notify your partner by email of new dates.

Chat

Use the chat window to chat with your partner – just like you would with any other instant messenger application.

Click on your partner to send them kisses and hugs as well as interact with them in other ways (like take off their pants!).

The Love Dot

There is a pink dot in the corner of the space – we call this pink dot the “Love Dot”. Click on the dot to let your partner know you are thinking of them – the Love Dot instantly turns bright red, fading back to pink slowly over time… unless you click it again!
